LAST DAY @ THE MTC!!

YOOOOOO! I finally made it to the last day of the MTC. I leave for Florida super early tomorrow morning and then don't get there until 6pm tmr night. So that's gonna be a LOOOOONG travel day! I get to spend it with my companion. So that will be fun.... NOT! I am definitely looking forward to a new comp. Hopefully my trainer will work out haha!! Anyway my time at the MTC has felt like a lifetime and I swear I know like No spanish so this is gonna be wild!

This week in our spanish only speaking it was hard. I feel like I completely lose my personality when I speak spanish. I cannot really say anything more than what needs to be said. So it was a pretty quiet week. We also took our final spanish test to see how much we have learned. The goal was to get a 4 on the test. After the test my companion got mad at me for getting a high score and said I didn't teach her enough. So that was a real fun time. But ya even though I had a high score I still feel like I know nothing lol.

Well my time at the MTC has definitely been MID. I have learned a lot about myself though. I have had lots of time to study and even though I would rather be outside or playing sports I am grateful for extra time to learn about the savior and also learn about the gospel of Jesus christ better and throw in some spanish study haha!

One quick thought for you all comes from one of my studies this week. I was reading the talk Ladder of Faith from the April 2022 conference. This talk focused a ton on how we need to turn and rely on Jesus Christ and His will for us. One quote that kept standing out to me was " Accepting His will in place of our own is key to finding joy no matter our circumstances." I think it is pretty easy to get caught up in life and be frustrated with our circumstances and want them to change. But this teaches us that when we are able to put enough trust in our Savior Jesus Christ and allow our will to align with His we can find happiness no matter the struggle. Jesus Christ is the key to happiness. I am so grateful to have this knowledge and to be able to share it with the people of Florida in a few short days!

This weekend we all get to hear the messages of God's Chosen Servants during General Conference. This is an opportunity we have to hear the word of God. This week I got to talk to Sister Cordon about everything that goes into Conference. She told me that each speaker usually puts at least 3 months of work into each talk. They also rewrite it on average 20 times. These talks are all inspired by God. So take this opportunity to learn and grow from the words that are being spoken.

Love and Miss you all! I am grateful for all of your examples in my life. Hope you are doing good! My P day is going to change next week so you will hear from me on Mondays from now on! Have a good week!!
