MERRY CHRISTMAS

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! FELIZ NAVIDAD! Hope you all have the very best Christmas full of the people you love, bussin food, and of course the light of our Savior Jesus Christ! He really is the light of the world and Christmas is a great time that we can celebrate him! The world NEEDS his light! 


This week was a LONG one. We had no success haha! Nobody was interested in hearing a message! We also had one friend that was progressing super well and he wanted to get baptized then yesterday he BASHED us. He said he believes the doctrine of our church but attacked us as people. He said we didnt serve enough didnt love enough and all we did was preach to people about Jesus Christ. He pretty much just roasted the type of people we were... Merry Christmas Eve to us ;) 


As I thought more about this I couldn't help but reflect on my life and my actions. I could think of a million times where my actions were did not benefit those around me. And every single day I still need to be lots better at uplifting those around me and being . This exprience helped me realize 2 things. 


1. Living a life dedicated to the Savior does not mean just preaching. It means being the best representative of Jesus Christ we can possibly be! Our actions should always back up what we preach! Whether we are missionaries with a tag or just followers of Jesus Christ we should should show it in how we live not just how we speak! Thinking about this helped me remember all the Christ-like i infulences in my life. The people who have helped me come to know my savior have not always been the people who have preached at me but instead the people who have cared about me loved me and served me like the savior would! 


2. I was reminded of the important role of the Savior! Because I am FARRRRR from perfect and have lots to work on and a long way to go I was filled with gratitude for the Atonement of Jesus Christ! The chance I have every single day to become a little more like our savior! And it can be a painful hard process! Its not easy but its possible because the savior of the world was born! What a blessing! The birth and life of christ made it possible for us to change and become like him!


So today remember the goal! Remember the savior! Remember his birth! His life! His mission! And remember to be a little more like him every single day! Let your actions prove your words! 


Merry Christmas! Christ lives! He is the reason for the season!!!

Heyoo! Hope it was a baller week for all of you. My week consisted of pretty much no time in my area. Thats one of the hatdest things for me to be out of my area. I left my poor trainee that knows no spanish here in miami with another sister who knows zero spanish. Lets just say our area has suffered. Only 3 more exchanges so I am praying those go well!  This week we also survived the tropical storm hurricane thing. We were locked up all day Saturday but nothing to crazy happened just bad storms.  Our friends havent really been keeping committments and its been hard. We are praying for them! We know God will provide.  This week in sacrament during testimony meetings there were so many people going up and it got me thinking about all the different members there are in the church. THANKFUL

Olá, tudo bem?? There is my little Portuguese for the week if that doesn't show you how crazy my week was I don't know what will! Haha! This week there were some really big struggles with the sisters we live with so we have been working in the Spanish and Portuguese area! It's crazy because I can pretty much understand everything my speaking is not so good haha. This week was a grind we found so many people and got some really awesome friends on date! Mentally this week was a hard one. My companion doesn't speak any Spanish so it's only me that teaches. I felt like a chicken with my head cut off most of the week. So many friends missionaries and members that need our help but I was struggling to keep going myself. I felt like I was sprinting and not getting anywhere. It was frustrating. Many times during the week I wondered how in the world I can do this for 75 more days! Then to add to it I got asked to speak in sacrament haha. Don't worry I survived.  Fun fact...

LAST DAY @ THE MTC!!

YOOOOOO! I finally made it to the last day of the MTC. I leave for Florida super early tomorrow morning and then don't get there until 6pm tmr night. So that's gonna be a LOOOOONG travel day! I get to spend it with my companion. So that will be fun.... NOT! I am definitely looking forward to a new comp. Hopefully my trainer will work out haha!! Anyway my time at the MTC has felt like a lifetime and I swear I know like No spanish so this is gonna be wild!  This week in our spanish only speaking it was hard. I feel like I completely lose my personality when I speak spanish. I cannot really say anything more than what needs to be said. So it was a pretty quiet week. We also took our final spanish test to see how much we have learned. The goal was to get a 4 on the test. After the test my companion got mad at me for getting a high score and said I didn't teach her enough. So that was a real fun time. But ya even though I had a high score I still feel like I kno...
