So Many New Friends!

hola hola hola! Buenas tardes! I hope you had the bestest week! It was another crazy week here in West Palm! We have lots of people we are trying to help progress right now so that has been fun! 


We have two friends who we are hoping to get baptized on Sunday! They want to so bad but because of some struggles we might have to push their date back! The lord has prepared them and I am hoping eveything works out for them! Pray for Marina y Mariana! 


Friday was the CRAZIEST day of my entire mission! We had a zone blitz which means we set SUPER high goals exchange with someone random in our zone and then go crazy! We had to set a goal for how many lessons we were going to have that ray and how many new people we could find to teach! Well me and my comp for the day decided to set a super high goal of 50 lessons and 20 new people being taught! Our zone laughed at us with that goal and so it motivated us to work so hard for it! We literally literally didnt have lunch or dinner that day we just worked all day long! Unfortunately we didn't quite reach our goals! But we still had 42 lessons and found 18 new people! 


It was so fun to just grind and see all the people that God put in our path that were prepared and ready to hear a message! God is good and keeps helping us keep West Palm alive!! 


This week I studied alot about Joseph Smith! We got bashed so many times this week and its always about Joseph Smith! So I wanted to study his life and eveything about him! As I learned about him my love, respect, and appreciation grew so much for him! Which was a good reminder to me that when we truly get to know someone and learn about them its so hard not to love and appreciate them! 


But yesterday when I was studying his experience praying to know what church was true there was a part that stood out to me! 
He says in Joseph Smith History 1:15-16 


15 After I had retired to the place where I had previously designed to go, having looked around me, and finding myself alone, I kneeled down and began to offer up the desires of my heart to God. I had scarcely done so, when immediately I was seized upon by some power which entirely overcame me, and had such an astonishing influence over me as to bind my tongue so that I could not speak. Thick darkness gathered around me, and it seemed to me for a time as if I were doomed to sudden destruction. 


16 But, exerting all my powers to call upon God to deliver me out of the power of this enemy which had seized upon me, and at the very moment when I was ready to sink into despair and abandon myself to destruction—not to an imaginary ruin, but to the power of some actual being from the unseen world, who had such marvelous power as I had never before felt in any being—just at this moment of great alarm, I saw a pillar of light exactly over my head, above the brightness of the sun, which descended gradually until it fell upon me.


I immediately could think of SO many examples in my life where I thought it would never work out or be ok and right when I was about to give up it all worked out! Sometimes we have to get to the point where it is so hard and so dark so we can have the chance to be filled with the hope and light of Jesus Christ!
That doesnt mean to give up them everything will work out it means to do as Jospeh did and pray with all you have and right when all seems hopless or lost God Provides! 


So Keep Trying! And as my bestie kait says 
"hold on and hope on!"

She is so quick to love and accept anyone around her!  I am super grateful we get to be hermana besties at the same time! If you know her you are guaranteed to love her! And I am so jealous of all those lucky Dawgs in Spain that get to hangout with her!  Super grateful to have the one and only candy gal as my bestie! Happy birthday hun

Heyoo! Hope it was a baller week for all of you. My week consisted of pretty much no time in my area. Thats one of the hatdest things for me to be out of my area. I left my poor trainee that knows no spanish here in miami with another sister who knows zero spanish. Lets just say our area has suffered. Only 3 more exchanges so I am praying those go well!  This week we also survived the tropical storm hurricane thing. We were locked up all day Saturday but nothing to crazy happened just bad storms.  Our friends havent really been keeping committments and its been hard. We are praying for them! THANKFUL

Olá, tudo bem?? There is my little Portuguese for the week if that doesn't show you how crazy my week was I don't know what will! Haha! This week there were some really big struggles with the sisters we live with so we have been working in the Spanish and Portuguese area! It's crazy because I can pretty much understand everything my speaking is not so good haha. This week was a grind we found so many people and got some really awesome friends on date! Mentally this week was a hard one. My companion doesn't speak any Spanish so it's only me that teaches. I felt like a chicken with my head cut off most of the week. So many friends missionaries and members that need our help but I was struggling to keep going myself. I felt like I was sprinting and not getting anywhere. It was frustrating. Many times during the week I wondered how in the world I can do this for 75 more days! Then to add to it I got asked to speak in sacrament haha. Don't worry I survived.  Fun fact...

LAST DAY @ THE MTC!!

YOOOOOO! I finally made it to the last day of the MTC. I leave for Florida super early tomorrow morning and then don't get there until 6pm tmr night. So that's gonna be a LOOOOONG travel day! I get to spend it with my companion. So that will be fun.... NOT! I am definitely looking forward to a new comp. Hopefully my trainer will work out haha!! Anyway my time at the MTC has felt like a lifetime and I swear I know like No spanish so this is gonna be wild!  This week in our spanish only speaking it was hard. I feel like I completely lose my personality when I speak spanish. I cannot really say anything more than what needs to be said. So it was a pretty quiet week. We also took our final spanish test to see how much we have learned. The goal was to get a 4 on the test. After the test my companion got mad at me for getting a high score and said I didn't teach her enough. So that was a real fun time. But ya even though I had a high score I still feel like I kno...
