Baptizing CUBA
HELLO EVERYBODY!
Hope yall had the very best week ever! It was a crazy week here. We were able to see sooo many crazy miracles. God is really good to us!
This week our friends in CUBA got baptized! We get the chance to teach people who are in Cuba since there are not missionaries there! Lets just say I pray every single day to go to Cuba!
It was a super special experience to get to watch our friends get baptized. They were so happy. They keep sending us the number of everyone They know in Cuba. The Gospel is spreading quickly there! The last month every single sunday the little branch has more than doubled in size.
we also got to help out 2 of our friends here be baptized it was a special week full of miracles!
This week there was also so much that was going wrong. Tuesday night we got back to our house exhausted, discouraged and full of frustration. I laid down ready to go to bed early and just call it a day! I could not fall asleep for the life of me.
I put my airpods in and decided to scroll on gospel library to find a talk that would make me fall asleep. Well instead of anything to put me to sleep it did the opposite! It woke me up to the reality! I realized what I needed to change! I realized the problem I had been. I realized that I was sitting here frustrated with people and the problems that I felt they were causing but i didn't look inward.
“As you hear or read the words of the ancient and modern prophets, refrain from thinking about how the words apply to someone else and ask the simple question: “Lord, is it I?” We must approach our Eternal Father with broken hearts and teachable minds. We must be willing to learn and to change. And, oh, how much we gain by committing to live the life our Heavenly Father intends for us.”
I needed to ask the questions “ LORD IS IT I?” I needed to realize that there are so many things I can work on. I needed to be aware of the pride that I had. I needed to realize that I am nothing without God.
Every time for the rest of the Week I tried to ask myself lord is it I? I was able to find solution to so many problems just by changing how I reacted. Maybe it didn't change the actions of others. But there are always ways we can improve how we act and when we do so in a more Christlike manner we are aligning ourselves with the will of the Father.
This week ask yourself “ lord is it I?” Then as you change and act in a more christlike way you will feel the peace that comes! It's a much better feeling I promise ;)
Love you all!
Love Like Jesus
