Argentinian Week

Hey yall! Hope it was a good week. This week was pretty normal here in Miami. We worked really hard to find people who were prepared. We receive around 80 referrals every week which is CRAZY! But a struggle has been that they often dont live in our area or they dont really progress. We are finding so many people each week but helping them see the importance of the gospel has been a struggle. 

So this week I decided to be BOLD with our friends. I dedicated my efforts into truly helping them understand the importance of the gospel. Instead of inviting them to church snd sharing a brief testimony I related it to them personally and promised them blessing according to their needs and this truly blesses our area. We had 11 friends at church! It was so so cool to see. This was a powerful reminder to me that Jesus Christ is our PERSONAL SAVIOR! The gospel can be as peronal as we make it. 

This week I also decided to let my comp shiw me the argentinian life style. I had empanadas 4 times this week drank more mate than ever before and had all the random treats she made. She was in heaven haha. It was good but I also love america hahaha

We only have one more week in this transfer which is crazy! We will soon find put where I will spend the rest of my mission! Im excited to see what happens. Time is officially FLYING and I'm not too sure how I feel about it.  

A quick thought this week came from mt stufy in PMG. I was reading in chapter 6 about Christlike Attributes. The very s
tart of the chapter says: At the beginning of His mortal ministry, Jesus walked along the shore of the Sea of Galilee and called out to two fishermen, Peter and Andrew. “Follow me,” He said, “and I will make you fishers of men

"FOLLOW ME" really stood out to me this time reading it. It clicked in my head that following him is truly the start to a life with him. That was powerful for me to realize. All he asks is to follow him and the longer we follow the more we know him until one day we are truly like him. And thats the purpose of life. It starts as simple as two words: Follow me. The gospel is simple. Growing and Becoming is harder but when we truly turn our focus to the savior and following him we will be blessed with his light. 

Im grateful for a savior that keeps things simple and all he asks is to follow him. Im not perfect or even close to perfect but he was and is perfect. So there is no greater example to follow. 

Jesus is so good! Im lucky to represent Him and wear His name on my chest!

Heyoo! Hope it was a baller week for all of you. My week consisted of pretty much no time in my area. Thats one of the hatdest things for me to be out of my area. I left my poor trainee that knows no spanish here in miami with another sister who knows zero spanish. Lets just say our area has suffered. Only 3 more exchanges so I am praying those go well!  This week we also survived the tropical storm hurricane thing. We were locked up all day Saturday but nothing to crazy happened just bad storms.  Our friends havent really been keeping committments and its been hard. We are praying for them! We know God will provide.  This week in sacrament during testimony meetings there were so many people going up and it got me thinking about all the different members there are in the church. THANKFUL

Olá, tudo bem?? There is my little Portuguese for the week if that doesn't show you how crazy my week was I don't know what will! Haha! This week there were some really big struggles with the sisters we live with so we have been working in the Spanish and Portuguese area! It's crazy because I can pretty much understand everything my speaking is not so good haha. This week was a grind we found so many people and got some really awesome friends on date! Mentally this week was a hard one. My companion doesn't speak any Spanish so it's only me that teaches. I felt like a chicken with my head cut off most of the week. So many friends missionaries and members that need our help but I was struggling to keep going myself. I felt like I was sprinting and not getting anywhere. It was frustrating. Many times during the week I wondered how in the world I can do this for 75 more days! Then to add to it I got asked to speak in sacrament haha. Don't worry I survived.  Fun fact...

LAST DAY @ THE MTC!!

YOOOOOO! I finally made it to the last day of the MTC. I leave for Florida super early tomorrow morning and then don't get there until 6pm tmr night. So that's gonna be a LOOOOONG travel day! I get to spend it with my companion. So that will be fun.... NOT! I am definitely looking forward to a new comp. Hopefully my trainer will work out haha!! Anyway my time at the MTC has felt like a lifetime and I swear I know like No spanish so this is gonna be wild!  This week in our spanish only speaking it was hard. I feel like I completely lose my personality when I speak spanish. I cannot really say anything more than what needs to be said. So it was a pretty quiet week. We also took our final spanish test to see how much we have learned. The goal was to get a 4 on the test. After the test my companion got mad at me for getting a high score and said I didn't teach her enough. So that was a real fun time. But ya even though I had a high score I still feel like I kno...
