Buenas noches! Hope you all are doing good! We had another good week here. Our friends David and Gerardo got baptized. It was super fun to help them prepare and see them so excited to follow Jesus Christ.  My companion wants to work hard and I definitely take advantage of that. God is blessing us with so many people who want to hear the message of the restored gospel. We don't have enough time in the day to teach all of them! It's crazy. Don’t worry we are making more time. We got up at 5:30am, 3 days this week to teach our friend who starts work at 6:00am! Don't recommend it but hey anything to help our friends learn about Jesus!  This week we also had 8+ hours we were helping other missionaries and our area was left with nothing haha. Let's just say we were not very happy but God provided and somehow slowed time down for us so we could still teach everyone we needed to! God is so good!  This week for me and my comp was a week of QUESTIONS. One night we started talking...

This week was a week of wild latin drinks that were supposed to cure the sickness me and my comp got. Lets just say we had some WILD stuff!  This week their was a crazy tropical storm and we weren't allowed to leave our houses. The roads were all completely flooded. Our house somehow survived! We grinded phone work and called every single person we have in our app.  This week we also decided to focus on inactive members and we had 16 inactive members come to church yesterday because we called them! It was super cool! We also had a lot of friends there! It was a good father's day!  One quick thought this week came from when I was reading the Book Saints. I was reading about when Brigham Young met Joseph Smith for the first time. Just by being in his presence Brigham Young said “I knew at once he was a prophet of God.”  This has been something that I have thought about a lot recently. Hello everyone! Hope y'all are having the best day! It was a pretty normal week hare. With a few crazy things haha! But hey that's the life of a missionary.  This week our friend Yosvany was baptized. We taught him about 2 months ago and he wasn't willing to make changes in his life. So we stopped teaching him. But before we stopped teaching him I spent 15 minutes making him a step by step video of how to use the gospel library app. I'm not gonna lie I thought I had just wasted a ton of time and I was so mad at myself.  Flash forward like 6 weeks. One night as I was studying the scriptures I read a verse and his name popped into my head. We hadn't had any contact with him since we stopped teaching him so I was like hmm that was random. Then the next day I kept thinking about him. I decided to call him. hola amigos! It was a long week here in Homestead haha! Lots of crazy stuff going on! We spent a lot of time doing things for our zone so our area didn't get very much attention.  We were able to hit our goal of 150 lessons this week! The only way we had Time was by having lessons from 6:30am-10:30pm! no time for lunch or dinner haha!  This week me and my comp were trying to think of ways we could better help our friends and the missionaries we serve around! We were doing all we could but we felt like the more we tried the worst it got. We quickly realized that we could not fiz their problems or make them be baptized or work hard. All we could do is lead them towards the savior and let them turn to him!  This really opened my eyes! I was trying way too hard.
